Julio O. Ortiz, 50, of Providence, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2022. Born on March 5, 1972, he was raised in Bronx, NY to Julio Ortiz and Dolores Rodriguez.
He was the loving father and amazing role model to his sons, Alex Ortiz, Julio Ortiz, and Damiane Ouellette; brother to Elied, Tito, Mickey, Robert, Betsy; uncle to Amiyah and Eleni; grandfather to Khalila Ortiz; lifelong partner and friend to Damaris Ortiz.
Julio was a lifelong collector of sneakers, hats, action figures, DVDs, and CDs. He enjoyed food, 80's arcade games, sci fi/action movies, R&B, Hip-Hop and slow jams. Julio's energy filled up a room and loved to spend time with family friends. He found Peace in his final moments surrounded by love, friends, and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, September 22nd at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
